BAND-IT® Ties are available in two premium material and coating options:
200/300 Stainless Steel with Nylon 11 coating (AA Series) and 316 Stainless Steel with PPA571 coating (AE Series).
Uncoated versions are also available for specialized applications.
Engineered with a unique buckle design, BAND-IT® Ties provide fast and simple installation while allowing easy release and reuse when required.
Both Nylon 11 and PPA571 coatings offer outstanding resistance to chemicals, weathering, and UV exposure. Their flexible design performs reliably even in low-temperature environments while protecting cables from damage caused by direct contact with stainless steel.
The thicker PPA571 coating and smooth-edge design provide enhanced corrosion resistance along with additional protection for cables and installers’ hands

How to use BAND-IT Reusable Cable Ties
Prepare the Bundle
Arrange the cables, wires, or components neatly and determine the required tie position.
Wrap the tie
Wrap the reusable cable tie around the cable bundle, ensuring it sits evenly without excessively compressing the cables.
Insert the Free End
Pass the free end through the reusable buckle and pull it through to create a secure loop around the bundle.
Tighten the Tie
Pull the tie to achieve the required tension and ensure the cables are held firmly in place.
Secure the Tie
Check that the buckle is properly engaged and the tie remains securely locked around the bundle.
Trim Excess Band
If required, use a suitable BAND-IT® cutting tool to remove excess material for a clean finish.
Release & Reuse
When access is needed, release the reusable buckle, adjust or service the cables, and reinstall the tie as required.
Final Inspection
Check that the tie is secure, the cables are not damaged or over-compressed, and the bundle remains properly organized.
The ties can be tensioned manually or installed using BAND-IT® tools such as the Cable Tie Tensioner, Tensioning Hook, or Bantam Tool.
