How to use Ultra-Lok Cable Tie
Prepare the Cables
Arrange the cables or components into the desired bundle and ensure they are positioned correctly.
Wrap the Tie
Wrap the Ultra-Lok® cable tie around the bundle, keeping the tie aligned and positioned securely.
Insert the Free End
Feed the free end of the tie through the Ultra-Lok® locking head.
Tighten the Tie
Pull the free end through the locking mechanism and tighten the tie around the bundle using the appropriate BAND-IT® installation tool.
Apply Proper Tension
Continue tightening until the required secure clamping force is achieved without damaging the cables.
Secure the Lock
Ensure the locking mechanism is properly engaged and the bundle remains firmly held.
Trim the Excess
Cut off the excess band neatly using the appropriate cutting tool, leaving a clean and safe finish.
Inspect the Installation
Check that the tie is securely locked, properly tensioned, and that the cables have not been damaged or excessively compressed.
